  42. Thanks for your info.  Since my last post, I have tried a Supra 
  43. 288iPNP modem.  I couldn't get it's plug and play utility to work 
  44. under Win 3.11, so I upgraded to WIN95 and still can't get it to 
  45. work.  I put my no name modem back in, and it works just fine in 
  46. WIN95.  I am getting 28.8 connections with one of my ISP's POPs about 
  47. half the time.  With its other local POP I usually get 26.4.
